I still only need 2.

But the price is pretty darn good, so I'll get 4 if that is the only way they will ship them.

Anybody want to split a set?

They priced them each, so I think 2 will be ok.

Why can't you folks do this sort of thing in the winter?? When I have $$$?

Ugh, I'm staring down the barrel of a set of A6s and just racing costs in general. I could really use a set for practice. Must...resist...purchase...debt (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/whip.gif)

I've more or less decided to get 4, Silver, 17x11, 50mm. Then I can use two for street tires (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Let us know when and where to send the dough.

Thanks

It's only money Brian. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I was going to wait but that darned Kevin starts selling C5 bracket again. Low and behold I need new street wheels in addition to the 17x11's I wanted this winter. Now thanks to Kevin I'm buying C5 brakes, 17x11's, 17x9.5's, and a fender roller. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Kevin you want to set an official end date for this? I do have a post on my local board I think a couple of people were somewhat interested.

I guess we'll make it Sunday, August 13th. (unless anyone wants to be sooner). That way, people can send the checks and I'll get everything ordered as soon as everything comes in. That gives people another payday.

They do 50mm, I can see if they also do 36mm, I'm not sure at this time.

Which did you think you might want?

What brand are these? Just wondering how they compare weight and quality wise to AFS. Price is excellent!

I think I'd want 36mm. I have 7 5/8" backspace custom wheels now (about the same, right?). I'd like to avoid using spacers in the front if possible. The 50mm ones will work OK though if they don't make the 36mm ones.

Black shipped to 21784.

Brian, here's what Jon A did to make 17x11's in 36mm offset fit an LT1 Camaro:

http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/index.php?sho...c=1179&st=0 However his front brakes make the wheels stick out a tad bit more.

They are from OE wheels, weight, strength and finish seems to be just as good as AFS. I know of a few sets that have been on autocross cars with no issues.

Well shoot, seems like more than I've ever had to do to make mine fit. I just rolled the rear fender lips and use a spacer in the rear. The fronts just fit with no problems. Will have to look into this more...

Make it a track-only car and then you won't need the x-tra set of street wheels! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) FYI. I know someone who rents the fender roller for $60 with heat gun if you don't feel like spending the $250-300 to buy one. Well...gotta jump in the truck and head to Summit Point! Have fun, I'll be at Beaver Run tonight. If I were at Summit Point, I'd be able to see my folks, I wish I were going to Summit Point. Say hello to Linda at the gate for me (tell her "Kevin says hi" when you go through (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ).

I almost posted our deal on a couple lists, then I thought I'd better check with you first before I made a blunder.

Do you want to keep this deal in-house, or is it OK to let other F-buds know about it?
