It seems like no-ethanol gas gives more HP than let's say the E-15 that most gas pumps supply, from my quick searches. (difference of 3-4%?)

But if I had my car tuned on "plain old pump gas" ie E-15 probably, will using no-ethanol gas cause issues? Assuming I use 91+ octane.

I asked a long time ago about a tick-tock sound coming from the dash somewhere. Every 5 seconds it would tick-tock, like a turn signal flasher. I narrowed it down to definitely the passenger side, definitely electrical (not a vacuum door on the HVAC), always while ignition key was in RUN even when engine not running. Then the other day I had a break through- it tick-tocked when I opened the door, after turning off the car and sitting for a minute. Security? Not HVAC electrical for sure. I took off the lower foot panel and the glove box door, and listened. The BCM? Oh man.

Then I remembered I had taken out the fuse for the interior courtesy lights about a year ago (to save electricity for my tiny battery, to not have to have the rear view mirror lights go on or accidently get bumped on). Let me try that- HALLELUYAH. Tick tock noise stopped immediately. So, if that fuse burns out or you take it out, you get that annoying sound like a flasher or slowly going bad relay.

A pair of Corvette C7 4-piston calipers, black, for z51 Corvette, also known as the J55 package, also usually listed as "heavy duty" in multiple catalogs. Made by Brembo. Never used, only used for fitment. These will NOT fit under 17 inch wheels, 18s are required, and 18's that don't have a significant "bump inset" (1/2 inch or deeper) on the inside, such as a 3pc wheel may have. Will fit well under Forgestar F14s. Probably amaze-balls for track days!

Takes the 13.6 inch rotor, and D1001 style pads.
Weigh ~9.5 lbs each without pads or pins.

Bolts onto LS1 style spindles with the original ears, only requiring drilling the holes to 9/16 ths inch.

I thought these were what I wanted, but found they don't fit under my 17s (street wheels), so I am selling them as I'm going with the smaller size of the same style.

Brand new: ~$800

Asking: $600

Hi all,
I made a detailed video of installing HID bulbs in my Trans Am. For anyone thinking about it, check it out. It's using Hella 57000, Amazon sourced HID conversion kit 35w, and ebay sourced adapter plate for low beams. It's pretty long, I wanted to be detailed about what it takes before anyone else dives in.

enjoy.

SOLD
set of 4 CCW LM20 wheels, 17 x 11 with +36 backspacing. Polished (no paint) outer rim, dark tinted clear coated centers. Centers made deeper than "standard" to fit bigger brake kits, there's a lot of space behind the spokes. I measured them at 23.5 lbs, the lightest CCW makes (they say). Used for about 2.5 seasons.

I'll be honest there are some scuffs on them. They were not show car wheels (hey we're on FRRAX, what did you expect? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) )

I live in State College, PA, zip 16801. I would also be open to possibly meeting in Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, Philly area, or Corning/outside of Watkins Glen, if we come to a deal.

Asking $1500. [price reduced! again]

I can post more photos later or email you direct.
