Does anyone make a timer that I can mount in the car and get a display while on the track. I'm thinking that if I could mount a button on the wheel that I could push as I cross the start/ finish. This button would stop the timing on the lap that I just ran and simultaniuosly begin timing on the lap that I am starting. I would get a display of the lap I just finished on some kind of read-out on the dash. At the end of the session I could download into a printer and print out a slip of the entire session.
Sound cool?
Does anyone make such a device?
If there is no such device, there sure should be!!!

With NASA (TX at least) you can rent transponders, and during HPDE 3&4 they record your times. You can get them after your run session. Mitch may be able to clarify, but this may only be apart of the timetrials. I do not know for certain if you can just run the transponder & get your times w/o entering the TT portion.
