Hello! I've heard about this forum from a buddy but its time for me to spend some time here. I've now run 10 autoX events since I got my 97SS last August. I also have run the Ontario regional series way back in 1990 in an 88 Formula. My latest runs were this Sunday. you can see my times HERE. My SS has the level II Bilstien suspension. I'm running Cooper Zeon 2XS UHP tires, and I must say they are amazing street tire (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) . A lot of the big guns were at the Canadian Nationals this weekend so the Subaru gang was not present. I'm hoping to lower the car a bit and help its handling even more. I've had some dramatic improvement this year compared to last years times, which is mainly due to the tires and practice. I'm hoping you guys can help out with your experience to help me and my SS to get faster and maybe take down some Subarus this year and next! Welcome. Another member from my home town ... very cool. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Mine is a dedicated road race car (well, it will be when I get it on the track - the dreaded "budget problems" have hit this year). I've had my car for eight months but have yet to drive it. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

I will tell you that, in those eight months, I have learned more about my car from the good folks on this forum than I expected to learn over several years. You'll learn lots.

WOW! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) Great stuff. Your into road racing. I'm not at that level yet, but running solo2 is my game plan to help me make the move to solo1 in 2 years time. I'm not sure I want to go all out with this car as its the anniversary issue SS and is in mint shape, I would hate to crash it. I love solo 2 and would like to get some more traction out of it. I was the only Fbody out at last weeks solo2 in Woodstock and there was near 10 Mustangs. I beat all of them but one in real time. With pax factored time I beat them all. Even an 03 SVT Cobra. Its the Subaru's that are kicking A$$ out here. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) . I want to beat them bad! Hi. I loved my Formula. It was rare. I was a novice autoX'r in the regional series in Ontario in 1990. I had a blast. I had to trade it in in 1992. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) . I missed out on a fantastic 89. All black interior 5spd. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) . A fellow out here in Welland has a super clean 350 but he doesn't race it. Its a showpiece. I'm currently showing and racing this. I usually have the cleanest car on the course! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) . I took 2nd place in my street class at Superfest 2004 in Michigan and won 4th gen stock in the AutoX. Now I just need to figure out how to kill more imports out on the slalom course, namely the Subaru! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

I do know Doug and many of the other TFBM guys but no it wasn't Doug! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) . My young friend Justin found this site a while back. He is Regamaro. Did you go to Sanair this past weekend? I'm hoping to shoot it out with Doug this Sunday at the TFBM solo2 (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

my car is still @ ARE... should be able to pick it up next week (friday) 30-July.
Should be nice, but it's gonna be scary fast... need to get humble and start learning to drive the beast.

Welcome to the board Andrew. You'll like it here (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Eugenio, I'm in the same boat as you. Need to keep myself humble when the new motor goes in over the next few weeks. To me it almost seems like the year of swap as MANY others I know are also swapping right now as well.

Thanks man! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) . Your website is great. One thing I noticed in the scores and times from your events is that the Camaro and Corvette seem to dominate more. Are you still using the 17"X11 rims or back to 17X9's? I'm looking to pick up a set of ZR1 17X9 rims for next season.
