All I can say is that its Dennis...and Dennis is a special fellow. Good guy in person but "special" out across the net.

BTW...I like Dennis.

He definitely isn't bashful about his views. I wouldn't take everything he says as gospel, but there is some good logic behind most of what he says. My favorite quote of his is "Nothing says triumph of enthusiasm over physics like a FWD racecar!"

Very good writer. I disagree with him on many points... I have never liked it when I read things like "to win" when the person really never did very much in that vain. Ok, he won a ProSolo Championship, in an AWD car in a class that was in it's infancy. But wasn't ever that close in a normal solo event when there wasn't help from launching, or when he was running in ESP.

This is also the person that claimed that my cars were 65% prepped, and that you wouldn't make a stock Evo any faster in SP trim.

He has some good points, but on the whole I think it's more good entertainment than valuable as setup help since I do things very differently and actually win-- a lot.

But I'm not an engineer, so maybe that doesn't count. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Sam, perhaps you should write your own series! I'm thinking "Pony Car to Win" would be an appropriate title (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Would rather do it than write about it. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Well, Bilstein fanatics tend to parrot his views on shocks to which I pointed out that Sam won National championships with both Koni and Tokico's. I like my Bilsteins but I also like my Koni's and Tokico's.

And for one of those titles, I had Bilsteins on the rear of the car too..... So that's all 3 I've won on. And I've done cars that have one on Penske's too.

would recommend an exorcism for that car. Don't know what happened, don't know I want to, never believed in curses---until recently.
