Although my wife doesn't even peruse this forum, she unknowingly gets so much input here that a sticker is much needed!

Although my wife doesn't even peruse this forum, she unknowingly gets so much input here that a sticker is much needed! Jason Jason, You need to get her registered over here. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) The last decal order was here: http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/index.php?sho...4&hl=decals Post 16 and 18 show the current decals. (Jason PM'd me asking about decals, so I just added the info here that I didn't put in the PM). Three on mine but one of them is real big (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) One on mine is real big, but it's the silver background (where yours is black, the black didn't show on my back window very well, or even at all) and one is real small (3"?) from where Chris did the first board "fund raiser" to get us on our own server. That was from a good while before I even considered buying this place from him, it's an "original". And, Andy J has done a fantastic job of verifying that these won't "blow off" of the car at typically illegal speeds. He might own the fastest frrax stickers on the board so far. Even bugs don't seem to bother the decals at nearly 170 mph, they stick really well (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) . |

Yes, They are verified sticky at 169mph, impervious to butterfly, bee and grasshopper impact. BTW, a rock chip at those speeds will peel a good sized spot of paint. I ended up covering the front of the car with 3M clear film after the first race this season. This post has been edited by AndyJ: Oct 20 2006, 02:46 PM |

Who tailgates at 169 mph????? Yea, yea, yea, I know not all rocks come from other cars...... I'm amazed you'd know what it was that you hit after hitting it at that speed. I'm thinking generic "bug splatter" is about all you could ID..... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rotf.gif) This spring during practice, we topped a hill and there was this hazy, sorta smoky cloud in the middle of the road. It was a swarm of honeybees at about 5mph 2 feet off the ground. We intercepted them at 155mph. It was plum nasty. Sounded like someone had opened up on the car with a SAW. Most hit the front bumper cover and the top 6" of the windshield and that was a good thing. The washers are ineffective that fast, the water just vaporizes. I don't know where all the rock chips come from-it baffles me but the car is being beat to crap paint wise. |

In the desert of nevada, does not the wind blow? Does not this wind pick up the small grains of sand and toss them into the air? Does not the B4C haul serious fucking ass down a 2 lane highway at break neck speeds? Sand+wind+B4C+168mph = rock chips This spring during practice, we topped a hill and there was this hazy, sorta smoky cloud in the middle of the road. My car WREAKED for weeks after that event. |

It stings a bit reading about everyone out racing so I try to stay out of those sections of the boards. |

Anytime you overtake, or get passed by, another car at speed the front end gets sandblasted |
