Are the headers stainless? Do they come with Y-pipe?

The headers are stainless, with air tubes but one is cracked at the weld to a primary (same cylinder with the broken exhast valve). I can try and weld it for you if needed. I have a Y-pipe but it was made by an exhaust shop then modified by me to clear my subframe connectors.. so not the SLP pipe.
Unfortunately the interior of of everything was coated with coolant and oil when the motor let go. |

Pics? And any idea what you'd have to have for them? I can low ball with the best of them, but I don't want to be too insulting.

Don't hold them for me, but I'm definitely interested. I've got a set of Edelbrocks up in the rafters that I had bought for my eventual CMC build, but they're just mild steel and I really like the stainless, coated headers on the AI car. Let me check them out and I'll get back to you.
I don't think shipping would be too bad as I could stand a strategic cut on the Y-pipe. |

I think these are the part numbers (or they would be the current part numbers if you were to order them today). Everything was bought at the same time around 1998, they saw some street use then the car was used only for autocross since about 2004 to last year.
CF360056 - Should include disk and pressure plate 14085720 - Flywheel I can post pictures tonight. This post has been edited by slowTA: Jul 28 2014, 05:00 PM |

I guess I didn't look at the friction surfaces very well when I took it all apart so maybe this should be in the pay it forward or scrap pile. I also have ARP hardware to go with it.... or toss out!

Bringing this back up to the top, everything still available and I'm about to put it all on TGO.

I boxed up the headers and y-pipe for two guys on TGO who backed out of the deal when I got the shipping price (guess I don't blame them!) It's a 44 pound box that is about 40"x20"x12", turns out it's about $45 to Georgia or $90 to California from Jersey.
Anyone here still interested? All boxed up and ready to go... and in my way!!! |
