F-Body Road Racing and Autocross Forums _ Classifieds _ Mackintosh Motorsports Great Sellathon

Posted by: rmackintosh May 18 2011, 05:31 PM

I am finally getting the list of things that no longer fit on my Camaro after all the Cortex/Stoptech changes together and putting them up for sale. ALL PARTS LISTED WERE NOT ON THE CAR DURING MY BIG WRECK.

These parts are parts that were taken off the car during the pre season build up of suspension and brakes. If I had not upgraded my suspension and brakes, and the car was still alive, I would be driving on this equipment today.

NEW PRICE $1000 Entire front suspension set up from my car ( less the upper and lower control arms and shocks). Porsche 996 Brake calipers and rotors, Custom cooling ducts into center of rotor, decent used pads. Spare used hubs and spare used rotors. This is the exact setup that was on my car until the Cortex/Stoptech upgrade a few months ago.

NEW PRICE$350 One set of silver ZR1 Corvette wheels. OE Concepts 50mm offset. Has set of Goodyear RS tires that have 4 heat cycles on them mounted.

NEW PRICE $250 One set of BRAND NEW Raybestos ST43 Front Brake Pads for the Porsche 996 brake calipers. I loved the Raybestos for feel, lack of fade and ease on rotors. These are a step up from the Pagid Blacks I was using ($399 new)

NEW PRICE$75 Two individual silver ZR1 Corvette wheels. OE Concepts 50mm offset. Tires are OLD, and can be dismounted before shipping.

$15 Six sets of new 1.5mm metric acorn lug nuts

SOLD One set of LGM Front Lower Control Arms. Powder coated a wrinkle finish black, and in perfect shape.

SOLD Pro 5.0 shifter stick new....6" long

SOLD Bump Steer kit. Used 1/2 a season....$170 new.

SOLD One set of UMI Front Upper Control Arms. The newer ones with the ball joint plate moved for better travel/location. Powder coated wrinkle finish black.

SOLD One set of Front Upper Control Arm Mounts converted for hiem jointed race shock mounting. Powder Coated gloss black

SOLD One set of 46mm CCW Classic wheels with black annodized centers. Mounted with Goodyear RS tires that have about 8 heat cycles left on them. One wheel has a scar from a hit 3 years ago when they were 30 minutes old, but all balance true.

SOLD Pro Stop 2 Piece rotor setup. One used rotor left for a pattern to send to Coleman to have new rotors made, Other rotor is gone. Set up for the Porsche 996 brake kits.

All prices are negotiable and BO. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions.

I will be starting another thread soon with the parts left over from the wreck. I need to go through that stuff a bit closer to inspect and be honest with what I have and what will work.

Thanks...

$60 Bump Steer kit. Used 1/2 a season....$170 new.

Does this use a bolt or a tapered pin? I assume this uses a rod end with an long adjuster sleeve? Anyone know if the thread for the 4th gen rack is LH 5/8"?

This has the tapered pin. It is the same kit you can get from Spohn, where I bought if from. Thanks.

Is that $15 for all 6 sets of lug nuts?

Edit: How far down is the bottom of the bump steer kit from the bottom of the spindle where it connects? I could use it but don't know if it will clear.

I'll take the Pro 5.0 Stick. I sent you a PM earlier.

Thanks

Sure, but I could charge you more if you like. I have a shot of all of them sitting there.

The bump steer should fit. I used 17" wheels with them and I had to cut the stud on the rod end side so that they would clear the rims. If you have 17"+ you should be fine.

And the LGM Lower Front A Arms:

I had the ball joints pressed out because we were gonna put some fancy NASCAR GM/Chrysler conversion in there for the Cortex setup before we decided to build our own Cortex A Arms. Be a good idea for new ones any way.

I might need that pro stop rotor...

I've been out for awhile.. I take it that there Steve (?) isn't making them any more? Who's/whats Coleman?

I am not sure, but I don't think Steve is still making them. All the stuff is Coleman--came in Coleman packaging when it was shipped to me. So you can have Coleman duplicate the rotor there for replacements/spares.

I'm interested in getting the rotor for the the prostops. If CJ-TA wants, we could work something out about getting Coleman to make some new ones. Let me know, paypal ready to go.

Replied.

Metlegleo, I'm up on working to get these made for myself, you, and whoever else wants a set. I'll reach out to Coleman when I get them from Randy..

Got the A arms yesterday, thanks. Bump for a great seller!

Posted by: rmackintosh Jun 8 2011, 04:05 AM

OK, a few items left....help fund the NEXT Mackintosh Motorsports race car....hehe.

New prices and I will likely put up my Speedway Engineering Ford 9" soon, if I get another car that does not need it. The axle tubes are SLIGHTLY bent, could be easily straightened, and I will confirm the Mark Williams aluminum center section and axles are perfect before the sale.

Randy, do you have any decent fuel injectors you want to sell? I am looking for a matched set that can shoot 45+ #'s per hour for my LT1 stroker.
