Thanks to trackbird for letting me post this since I'm under on the post-count front. Appreciate it.
When it's been 11 months since you wrecked and you haven't touched it since, it's time to throw in the towel. I'm not sure when/if I'd ever get around to wrenching on it. I also need to become mobile (read move) sometime soon...layoffs are fun! No pity party though, here's the goods: 1998 Camaro Z28 Hardtop LS1/M6, 125k-ish mi (purchased at 116k, battery is dead, it's very close to 125k), green/gray, no traction control, stock 3.42s 301/322 Hp/tq @ wheels @ LG, stock w/paper filter Everything inside works (A/C, CC, windows, radio, etc) except a couple speakers A/C components replaced in 2009 (evap, core, compressor) Fuel pump replaced by previous owner Castrol German 0w-20 oil, Mobil 1 or Wix filters (last changed at 123,338mi) 93oct Exxon only (including the 1/2 tank that's in there right now, but it's 11months old...) interior is great shape, no rips/tears anywhere Minus the wreck damage (see below): Paint looks good, some minor scratches (always washed/waxed using Griot's) PDR'd, straight body polished OEM headlights small tear in front fascia near the driverside blinker, been there for a long time and hasn't grown clear Texas title, my name no prior wrecks Modifications: Lid, brand unknown MSD wires NGK plugs Hurst shifter, factory knob Unbalanced Engineering Bilstein SN (spherical bushings) series shocks front & rear 1000lb (2.5” hyperco)/250lb (5” national spring on weight jackers) Set of takeoff OEM upper a-arms welded for spherical mount by LG Strano 35mm hollow front bar poly bushings Hellwig 22mm adj (21,22,23) hollow rear bar poly bushings Fays2 Watts link LG torque arm 1LE rear lower control arms Torsen T2R diff installed by Jason @ Texas Drivetrain Performance 17" GM OEM Camaro SS wheels (3, one is trashed) Dead 285/40R17 Kuhmo XS tires Orange Tire pressure monitoring system, will need 1 valvestem (maybe sensor, too) Parts/stuff not installed: Shaner S2 ported TB March underdrive pulley (25%?) Goodyear gatorback belts for UD pulley (A/C and accessories) ARP balancer bolt LS6 clutch and flywheel ARP bolts for flywheel and clutch OEM T2 diff OEM Auburn clutch diff (original to the car) K&N filter Samco silicone hoses Extra set of military grade AN365 bolts & re-useable nylock nuts for the upper shocks mount Extra set of energy suspension swaybar ends Spare IAT sensor Spare TPS sensor x2 Misc bulbs Set of window/lock switches Factory airbox All factory suspension parts (springs, shocks, swaybars, torque arm, including 1LE panhard bar) 16” factory star rims w/2 dead Nitto 555R drag radials 245/50R16 and 2 worn Falcon Zeix ZE512, 245/50R16 1 set stock upper a-arms, complete Factory service manuals (all 3 green books books) There may be a couple things I've missed I was working on getting a new steering pump and high pressure line for it. That, a new set of tires, and rear shock upper bushings is all it needed. All parts purchased in 2008/2009. Car was wrecked in July 2010. See this thread http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/index.php?showtopic=14897 from earlier this year for damage pictures. None of the chassis welds show damage, neither does the seam sealer. It should be fixable, no time/energy/money. My co-driver and I did pretty good in points at the local auto-x's in this car. It was really only raced during the 2009 season, one race at the end of 2008, one race in 2010 when it got wrecked. With the damage it will need: new driverside lower rocker driverside axle shaft 1 rear brake rotor (DS one got toasted) Tiny bit of fiberglass repair on hatch corner Either replacing (repair????, doubt it but maybe) the Watts frame or putting back in the panhard set up 1x 17” OEM GM SS wheel This is what I can tell, it hasn't been completely disassembled, so there might be some other stuff. Pics (click to enlarge): Stock, when purchased: (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v353/Magnum79/Camaro/th_IMG_0732.jpg) (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v353/Magnum79/Camaro/th_IMG_0733.jpg) (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v353/Magnum79/Camaro/th_IMG_0736.jpg) (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v353/Magnum79/Camaro/th_IMG_0739.jpg) Modified: (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v353/Magnum79/Camaro/th_IMG_1528.jpg) (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v353/Magnum79/Camaro/th_IMG_1533.jpg) (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v353/Magnum79/Camaro/th_IMG_1534.jpg) (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v353/Magnum79/Camaro/th_IMG_0781.jpg) Racing: (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v353/Magnum79/Camaro/2009_ER4/th_ERAutoX070509_105.jpg) (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v353/Magnum79/Camaro/2009_ER6/th_ERAutoX082309_1011.jpg) I'm not parting it out (no time!). Whatever I missed on the list, if it's in the garage and F-body, you get it. Rebuild it, NASA/CMC it, part it out (I'd hate to see that, but your choice). $3000 obo.
