So......a long long time ago I spent a bunch of time here. And then I didnt (long story)

Well Im pretty much set on the idea Im going to be autocrossing a 4th gen again.

So what has changed?

Some things Ive found already:
Tires are drastically more expensive
Available good r compound options are even more limited
Street prepared has some allowances I would have liked to have way back when
The newer cars have taken over ESP
Wheels have gone up in price. I think I only paid $400-450/wheel for CCWs

CAM C looks like a class that Id probably run in most of the time just for the participation.

What else has changed in 10 years LOL

Haven't been on here in awhile. I still see a bunch of familier names.

Anyhow so I'm going through reading some of my older posts. HOLY COW was I a sour puss! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/banghead.gif)

I guess I'm just much more mellow, and upbeat these days.

25mm hollow swaybar equals Xmm solid?

And how much does the center actually contribute? I know we've been over this a long time ago.....

I've looked around a little on LS1tech today and can't really find much in the way of regular Z28's. I would prefer an LS1 car, but would be interested in LT1 car for the right price/miles. I've been out of the game long enough I don't really know what a good condition LS1 Z28 sells for.
I assume stock LT1 cars are hard to come by?

When I had my car it was an LT1 for those that don't remember.
So I don't know much about the LS1 cars. Which are the better cars to start with? Are they all pretty much the same?

Just a little wishful thinking at this point. I'll know more next week.....
