'97 Camaro SS with 50,000 miles and several dozen track days. While changing front springs, shocks and sway bar and I noticed the ball joint on rear of lower control arm is a little loose, maybe an 1/8 of up and down play. How critical is this play to my suspension geometry? Is this the main wear point on the front suspension of upper and lower control arms and spindle bushings and joints? I have recently changed the tie rod ends and replaced the splinlde/hub/wheel bearings numerous times. It is my S/C (semi-competition) street car and wears slicks on track days.
