10-bolt axles from my last rearend before swapping in a 12-bolt (it's a daily driver... no class-limit problems for me (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ).
  • Mileage: The axles have about 30,000 miles in them of daily driving before I managed to climb the ring gear and chunk the pinion.
  • Storage: They've been in a cool dark place with a liberal coating of gear oil and greese, no signs of rust or spline damage.
  • Style/length: They're from my 3-channel 10-bolt rear, from a 1997 Trans Am (stock engine + a cold air intake... no crazy hp levels). C-clip ends are there as well if you still use them.
Auburn HD 7.625" (10-bolt) Posi Diff
    [font="Courier New"]
  • Ring size: 7.625"
  • Fasteners: GM 10-bolt
  • Mileage: About 30,000 miles
  • Storage: Well greased.
  • Condition: Spider gears look great, no nicks or damage to the unit. Perfect for a stock-class racer or a V6 looking for a posi upgrade. This wasn't a GM-sourced take off unit, it was ordered direct from Auburn Gear.
I'm in the Seattle area and willing to drive to/meet anyone in the Puget Sound area whose willing to take these off my hands. Willing to ship as well.

GONE. (anyone know how to lock and delete old classifieds posts? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) )

ACO-2006G
Sway Bar, Front, 1 1/4 in. (32mm) Diameter, Steel, Gold [iridite], Chevy, Corvette, Kit... 12-gauge zinc chromate plated brackets with fully enclosed bushings, and heat-treated endlink bolts for added strength.

I don't have a C5, but this was a sweet deal I came across.

I picked up a 21mm SLP rear sway bar for my 4th gen last year from summit on a similar deal... mine was $25 brand new shipped... and yes, once I ordered it was off the site. Usually these are VERY limited quantities... I wouldn't be suprised if there was only 1 at this price. Good luck! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Sway Bar, Rear, 7/8 in. Diameter, [solid] Steel, Gold [iridite finish], Chevy/Pontiac, Camaro/Firebird, Kit... uses the existing hanger rods from the factory installed rear bar...

Regular: $150... now only $70.50

Doesn't fit my 4th gen... but a nice deal for someone with a classic needing a 22mm rear bar. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

2 axles from my old 10-bolt: $50 +S&H

They look fine. One has 180,000 miles on it, and the other has only 50,000 (replaced after i managed to tweak a spline when nuking the stock spider gears at the track).

Boy would I like to make this a local sale... but I can DHL-it if anyone want's em. I guess they're about $150 each new... these would make great spares for some. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I'm installing an electric water pump right now, and in addition to wiring it to run when the ignition wire is hot, I'm using a stock Traction Control switch (momentary switch) to run the pump and the fans (on high) for track use.

Why the momentary switch instead of a rocker switch?
1) It's stock looking (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
2) I have fears of flipping the switch accidentally one day and killing the battery.

That's where the timer comes in.

The GM defrost timer-relay will use a momentary pulse to energize the relay for 10 minutes on first press (then 5 every press after until the voltage is pulled from it).

Had I wanted to elliminate the rear defrost grid in my convertible I could have just used the defrost switch as well with a simple wire splice... unfortunately I use that defroster in January.

Soooo... does anyone have a HVAC control panel from a Firebird laying around? The solid-state timer-relay I need is built into the board, so a "replacement part" actually is the whole panel (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I know you wanta toss that crap you have laying around after building a race-duty monster... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
