Just wanted to share,
My bro had a baby girl this afternoon. Was born @ 13h34 with 3.954kg (oh... that's 8lbs-11oz on your side of the scale) She is healthy and so is the mom. Can't wait to go see her later. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/drink.gif) And after the hospital, gonna finalize the work on the car, of course. I'm driving my car tomorrow... woohooo !!! |

Julie, you have some pix of your adopted child ?
That's very cool... it's something that I'd do if ever I cannot have any kids.. |

From what I understand it is a much longer wait to get a child from China now. oops... brain fart... thought of adoptive child, not adoptive niece (sorry for misreading it) Yeah... a few friends of mine have gone through the adoption process and it's quite an emotional roller-coaster, not to mention long and strenuous process. |

Congrats Eugenio and Julie. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/drink.gif) I have six nephews, three nieces, (one of whom LOVES motorsports), and one grand niece. (Is that what you call your nephews daughter?). I'm waiting,(somewhat impatiently), for a grand child, although I suppose a daughter-in-law is necessary first.

I used to tease my brother saying I had 2 nephews when he had 2 dogs. But now I have 1 nephew and 1 niece... (I only have 1 brother) |

You can spoil them and have lots of great quality time. I tend to give gifts related to cars/bikes/engines/etc. My nephew loves his trike, movie "Cars", all the "Cars" collection cars. The other day, in front of my place, was coming home from the park w/ my nephew and there was a Kawazaki parked in front of my house. he goes : "I want motorcycle" ... he's almost 3... made my day... I made him repeat what he said to dad + mom... When he's big enough, I'll definitely give a spin around the block on the bike. I'm thinking on getting him a kart one of these days, when he'll be bigger. |
