Hey All,just wanted to say hi and thanks for this great site.I have an 85 Z-28 and i've been autoxing it for about a year now and would like to get it set up for Thunder hill and Button Willow.
Before the last race I checked it out and its gonna need a full suspension overhaul. As I stated before im new to the roadrace scene and want to get away from the autoxing...im getting tired of getting blown away by RX-7's. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Thanks Vin

Hey Vin, Welcome! I am up at Thunderhill a lot between racing and instructing. I teach the SCCA High Performance Street School there and also for the NCRC http://ncracing.org/ . Check out my CMC car at http://www.geckoranch.com/cars/gekko_racing.html - that will give you a good idea of a well set-up third gen. I can definitely help you put those RX7s in your rear view mirror! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) C'mon out with your car as it is and you'll have blast!

Welcome to our addiction.

These days I'm running an 87 T/A. It won't take too much to put the 'zoom zoom' in your rear view.

Hey Vin,

I'm running the same GC kit and spring setup as Mike. I actually talked to him too when making the decision on my springs. I'm also using Koni Sports, poly control arm bushings and endlinks, Spohn Adj. Panhard bar, 32/19 swaybars, Belltech drop spindles and 3" Hooker catback. I'm still quite a way from my goal also (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
