Well I think I have come to a point where I do not have the time or motivation anymore to finish my Camaro so I am going to probably put a lot of info up here about the car to see if there would be any interest in selling the car as a complete unit as it sits now, or if there is more interest in parting the car out.

Little bit of history about the car

I am the orginal owner of the car. 1994 1LE Z28 Polo Green with graphite interior

Car as it sits right now does not run but it is on the fence on either going to a AIX car or being turned into one hell of a street car. It has roughly $21k in the motor build which is a solid roller 383 with a full Callies rotating assembly, ATI D1SC blower, T&D shaft mounts...lot of stuff and should be very close to 700rwhp by the time it is finished tuning and installing a full front mount intercooler.

The rest of the car has about $18k worth of mods in it and I can send a full list of items. The interior is currently completely apart other than the dash and there is a 22 gal, Fuel Safe Fuel cell installed in the back that just needs to be plumbed in. The car has Porsche TT brakes on the front, KB DD subs, LG coil overs, alum. rear suspension, global west uppers.....

Total investment in the car is $58,000 as it sits right now. I have probably 98% of all the car's history and parts receipts so documenation isn't a problem. I would take $42,000 with all of the parts and spares as I have around. I don't remember what all I have as far as spare parts but I know I still have all the air bags, stock steering wheel, non A/C heater box, cylinder heads and other engine parts. If someone was interested in parting the car out, or wanting to use the frame as a CMC or AIX car I could possibly do a cage install and we could work out a price that way. At this point I just started thinking about selling it so I do not know where the interest lies in buyers.

Email me with any serious questions.

Anthony,

That is a serious car! You should post it on the CMC and AIX boards too.

I still wish I could have seen it on the dyno with a fuel pump big enough..... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Dibs on the headers if it comes apart. Have you finally made up your mind on a new project?

I am glad to see you asking big money for this car! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I have a silver 96 originally built by Lou for a Doctor here in Dallas as the only ZR28 built for 96. It is finished similar to yours but about 100hp down and has about $80k invested overall. My problem is I can't keep the automatic together that the good doctor ordered it with intacts.

I am just glad your not dumping it like some mustang for pennies on the dollar. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif)

Well thats my starting price anyway. Not saying thats what it will get on the market but thats where I'm starting.

A bunch of the parts are still brand new, some still in the bags, like the Sparco Pro 2000 seats. The engine only has 600 miles on it, and has only been broken in.

Like I said, if someone is interested in making it a race car, I can do the cage in it before they buy it as long as I know what series it will be going in. Or if they are just wanting to get a roller with a full cage thats fine too. The car has a very clear history, like I said it was and has always been my car so there are no surprizes in whats happened to it.

I don't think I'd be all that anxious to install used and unknown history parts in my engine.

The motor comes complete....I'm not parting the motor out. Sorry, it was built to be in that setup and from the first dyno runs its a hell of a motor. I just don't have the time, or motivation to finish the car around it. I have no question about any part on that car, or I wouldn't have bought it to begin with

tell ya what, interested in something on the car...shoot me an email and make me an offer.

If nothing else I'll part out most of the car. Sell the motor, wheels, coil overs, brakes and that kind of stuff and build the rest as a ready to run CMC or similar car if someone is interested in a car for this coming season.
