For sale, 1983 Z-28, American Iron raced and legal, logbooks up to date.

Car has LS1 and T-56 six-speed. All the work was done by a speed shop, car is turn-key. All the parts needed to install the LS1 swap were purchased from Steve Spohn, it worked beautifully. Car is decently unique, and quite fast. It has taken a year, but I think all the bugs are worked out of it now.

Car was a 1LE factory stick-shift car from the factory, has the aluminum bumper supports, stuff like that. Safecraft racing seat, fire ext. system (activates from pull-up handle next to seat), race-ready as of now. Cost me a little over 27,000 to build over two years, tons of receipts, first $14,000 takes it.

Car has too much to list, i'll make a list and email it to interested parties. Car is turn-key as of now, ready to gas up and race.

Oh yeah, most likely the most important thing, the brakes. The car has a full four-corner Wilwood setup, with Baer Eratispeed rotors up front. Stainless brake lines, the whole deal. I bought nothing but great stuff for this car.

Everyone said you could not put the wilwood 3rd gen kit on the back of a thirdgen with a 9-bolt, they were wrong, my speed shop fabbed a bracket that works perfectly. Brakes are killer on this car, just phenomenal. Wilwood kit was purchased from Spohn also, as was a ton of stuff.

Yellow konis, nice transpoder from pegasus racing, eight rims with six toyos on them, two brand new, full sway bars and stuff like that from Spohn, most of the stuff you can get for a thirdgen from Spohn is on this car. Also, front camber plates, etc. from Spohn.

I am not aware of too many race-ready 3rd gens out there, i've had it on the track a few times, but the situation dictates that i drop to a cheaper spec series for a few years.

PM me, i'll ship you my phone number if you want to talk about this race car or have any questions.
