Looks like the Motiv8labs Camaro went down today during practice/quali at BBORR, everybody is safe. Blew the motor, windowed the block and resulted in an oil fire.

Looks like the wing delaminated.

Amazingly, you can still tell what it was. With all the plastic parts they put on vehicles these days, it's hard to ID many after such a fire. Look at a burned Toyota F10, and you'll know what I mean.

Glad everyone got out okay. I bet that event had some real pucker moments.

... the car did have some "interesting" engineering ... as in the 2nd pic (fire) that rear diffuser was made of wood.

Glad everyone was OK !
