F-Body Road Racing and Autocross Forums _ NFME _ Some photos from NFME 2010

I didn't get a chance to take many photos, but here's the bulk of the ones I did take. The Calypso Mustang is actually what we took with us this year (it belongs to my friend Bill/92 Voodoo on the board. He and James Greenwell had a blast chasing each other around the road course). On to the photos:

Thanks for posting pics for the rest of us that couldn't make it. Who brought the gocart? What a great idea! Amazing I didn't hurt myself autoxing Joe's ATV 2 years ago. smile.gif

I don't know who had that, I never saw it run (amazingly enough). I was expecting all manor of mayhem...

That was Marc Fillers son's kart. They ran the autox with it.

Kevin, it was nice meeting you & Bill, and big thank you to you both for letting me borrow the ramp extensions and then pretty much strapping my car down for me!

Hey Jason, it's great to see you here! (it's about time you posted something, first post and a member since 2006??? lol) I'm always glad to help out when I can. I guess that means that it didn't fall off the trailer? That's fantastic news. It was great to meet you and that's a beautiful car (I'd keep it, you don't want a Corvette anyway).

Mine was the one on jackstands in the garage. We put in 80+ hours in the garage the week of the event and literally looked at our watches, dropped the tools and piled in the tow rig to bring the Mustang so we could make it to/through tech that night. So I was there with the Mustang, but my car was stuck in the garage.

The Green(Teal) Mustang with the flapping hood going down the drag strip? Yeah, I met you guys. At first I thought u were nuts for bringing a 'Stang to an F-Body Event. But it was running and I wasn't out there to play along. Nice tape job to hold the hood down, BTW. All I know is that I need to get on the track this year instead of just the AX with an obnoxiously LOUD Monte Carlo. But, it does have mufflers now instead of straight pipes all the way out.

Wasn't it wiring that kept your car at home?

And I should have re-read the OP.

We are more than just a little nuts, but that's not really news around here anymore. lol

We were working on wiring and putting in a lexan windshield, building a dash board and mounts and wiring the dash, etc. It was a pretty long list and I was threatening to tow it and thrash on it in the parking lot all night. With the rain, I'm glad I didn't try, but we looked long and hard at bringing it anyway.

And besides...it's a really pretty Mustang. ph34r.gif
