Hey all,

THought I'd share some footage from the last weekend race at GMP from my 3rd gen AI car. This was race #3 for the weekend.

Looks to me like you drove just fine. Especially once your tires warmed up after the first couple laps. Perhaps a little sloppier in later laps? Tires greasy or driver errors? Regardless, you were a solid challenge for the win. What happened in the end to the car?

Probably driver errors / getting a bit too aggressive with inputs perhaps. Just getting used to everything out there ya know? Looking back at the video there are several places where I think if I had more confidence I could have just drove around the P1 car. I think my old car did pretty well, if I can learn some race craft to go with that.

At the end there I was black flagged for no tail lights. We had worked on a couple of items and forgot to reattach the ground wire. Stupid. That's what happens when you are in a hurry between races I guess. I'm looking forward to the next race for sure. I did get second place (5 starters) in race #2 so I was happy with that in spite of throwing the last race (#3). Even got a little contingency cash for the first time which felt good.

Thanks for sharing, really enjoyed watching. That was some good racing and made me proud to see a 3rd gen all over/challenging sn197 mustangs. I'd say you have a bright future in AI.
