What's your favorite racing gloves? I've purchased a few different ones-Simpson posi-grip(latest version is the Talon grip with a different palm stitching), this a great fitting and feeling glove. The leather is soft and grippy and they have a second layer of leather on the palm and thumb for additional wear. The stitching in the fingers feels good. They are a long gauntlet style with elastic at the wrist and end. I really don't like the elastic as the gauntlet gets all bunched up with a jacket. $90-$100

RCI, I purchased an older style glove and found the stitching in the fingers to be a bit thick. I really like the open end long gauntlet style. Not a bad glove but the lack of stiching across the palm allows for some bunching. This particular version was made in the US. I'm not sure if the newer ones are or not. $60

Racequip, this glove is some type of suede-I'm thinking synthetic-which provides good grip. The feel of the seams in the fingers is very good. Like the Simpson it also has an additional layer across the palm stitched to avoid bunching. The gauntlet has elastic at the wrist and an open end gauntlet that is about 1 inch shorter than the Simpson. This glove is about $60 and can be found on Ebay. IMO this glove is a great value.
