I'm in all kinds of facebook groups and honestly, most of them seem to be pretty "crappy". Usually you try to help someone and some other guy swears you're an idiot and so on. I've been moving closer and closer to just deleting my facebook profile all together. lol.

If you find a good one, let us know! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

The biggest problem with the Facebook groups is you don't now who's giving you the advice. A real racer or an eleven year old kid whose only experience is playing road racing games on his Play Station. Here's a link to one that I would recommend. Here's a website by Ross Bentley that's pretty good too.

Other than these two site, I would stick with people you know and trust that have the same interests as you. Like FRRAX.

I’m in a private group called HPDRE. I never liked any FB groups until this one. Big mix of members from enthusiasts, club racers, pro racers and shop owners. Everyone offers great advice, gets along well and it’s a fantastic place to network.

I just don't like the way information is doled out on Facebook groups. It's totally random. There's plenty else I don't like about them.

I'm on a couple good pages, I think they are more regional to the midatlantic area. One is Apex speed freaks: apexspeedfreaksfacebook

and Track Monkeys: trackmonkeyfacebook

and I'm on some local autox/track clubs, you should try to find one local to you, I think that keeps people legit instead of the anonymous keyboard warriors that always derail everything

My opinion is FB is not a great place for technical info. Conversations are hard to parse, hard to link, too many yahoos, etc. FB is for your local club to chit chat about events, smack talk, just make announcements. A forum like this site is easier to search, comment on issues, add links etc.

This is my #1 F-body forum. I've heard of CornerCarvers.com and I think maybe there are some serious guys there too.

That's true, I guess I really just use them for finding events and looking at pics and video from events!
