Looks like I'm not going to have the money to buy the Porsche parts to complete this kit, so I'll sell the Prospeed Motor Sports adapter kit unused, still in the box. I'm looking to get what I paid, which was $450, back when he was discounting his last few kits (I believe the regular price was $550). I'm going to grab the sheet that has the parts list tonight...but since I've removed nothing from the box, whatever he shipped is what you'll get. To my knowledge, it should contain everything needed to use Porsche 996 brakes, you only need to supply the rotors, calipers and pads.

PM me if you're interested.

Thanks for the quick replies. My scanner is down, so I can't scan the parts list page that came with the kit, but I'll post it (you could probably get it by searching the forums too (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Prospeed caliper adapters (1 pair)
Prospeed Rotor spacers (1 pair)
Prospeed Rotor Centering Ring (1 pair)
Prospeed Wheel Spacer (1 pair)
Hex head adapter bolts (4)
Socket head caliper bolts (4)
M12 washer (2mm) (8)
1 mm shims (4)
Prospeed FlexTru SS brake lines (1 pair)
ARP 2.5 inch wheel studs (10)
Installation Instructions

I thought he was supposed to include a bottle of brake fluid, but it isn't checked off - so I won't guarantee it's there. I haven't cleaned out the contents of this box...I've only opened it enough to see the parts list and install instructions. Everything else is still in the box as it came from PSM. This kit is for the front only, for all 4th gen f-bodies.

Thanks,

Yes, I'm from Edmonton. I bought the kit when the Canadian dollar wasn't worth as much as it is today.....but by today's conversion, $450 US is worth about $550 Canadian. As long as I don't think about how much I ultimately spent on the kit...on shipping...on GST and brokerage.....this won't really depress me (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Eugenio....if you buy this kit from me....and I make it out to Montreal.....you're going to have to give me a ride:)

I don't have any immediate plans to make it out that way.....but I'm sure it'll happen eventually.

Right now the furthest east I'm regularly going is to Saskatoon...a team-mate of mine is fighting in a nhb match on Feb 5th.

If this is still available I am interested.

What Porsche calipers/rotors work with this system, and where could I source them?

Nobody has definatively spoken for the kit, and nobody has agreed to terms - so the kit is still available.

I believe Eugenio is collecting information in this post.

The parts are available from any Porsche dealer through their motorsports division....and presumably through various aftermarket suppliers of Porsche components.

He beat me to it. In the highly-unlikely event that this sale doesn't happen, I will update here - otherwise this kit is gone gone gone.

You saw it here....Eugenio has to give me a ride in his car someday (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

if you are willing to drive more this year, we can meet half-way, somewhere around Winnipeg :drive:
Wishing you get at least 1 tank of gas of use in 2005... you should fill with new gas asap, when you bring it back on the road.
