Registration for the UMI Autocross opens February 2nd at 10am. Me and friend will both be registering. Is anyone here going to be registering and attending the autocross as well? Here is the info..

Registration for the 2018 UMI Autocross Challenge opens on Friday February 2nd at 10AM EST.
Registration is only needed for the autocross portion of the event, registration is not needed for the Saturday evening Cruise In car show.

Event Schedule:

August 9th, Thursday- Social gathering at local venue.
August 10th, Friday- Full day of autocross, car cruise to the UMI facility, UMI open house & barbecue.
August 11th, Saturday- Full day of autocross, evening Cruise In car show, live music.

Please note the entire 2018 UMI Autocross & Cruise In will be held at the new UMI Motorsports Park race track. This spectator friendly and unique challenging autocross course will make for an excellent must attend event.

I'm going to try to make it this year. I may be closing on a house in August, so I'm not 100% sure how that's going to work out. But I'm still going to try to make it, even if I just drive the car up and don't run.

There's also a discussion here:

It's ok. I wasn't busting your chops. Just didn't want you to miss the info. It might be seen more in the general forum so I'm not against having two threads on it. Ryan and the UMI crew are AWESOME! The shop is like a toy shop for fabricators and I recommend stopping by the event and catching the shop tour. And if you haven't met the UMI guys, you should. After a couple years of catching up with Ryan and the crew at events and stopping by the shop last summer, it's like being part of a family. You won't meet a better group of gearheads anywhere.

Yea ive actually been fortunate to get to know Ryan, Ramey and craig over the past few years. They've helped with anything suspension related things that ive needed. I agree they are AWESOME! And like you said you definitely get that family feel with them.

Thanks for all the kind words guys (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) We really appreciate the support.

We are really excited about this year, it should be a great time for all. We have been working a little each week on it to make sure everyone has an awesome time and gets a lot of runs. We also may have a really cool course designed by Sam Strano....

Hope to see you all there!
