I bought these from Sam, invoice date Feb 3, 2006.

Reentryracer stated he is interested in the T2R at 5:50pm today.
I also have a pm at 8:53pm today from another interested party.
Figured I should start an actual For Sale thread to manage it.

The T2R is $599 + shipping. (2007 price)

The Master Overhaul Kit is $129 + shipping. (2006 invoice price)

The carrier bearings are $32 + shipping. (2006 invoice price)

The T2R is around 22 lbs and is coming from 37087 zip code.

PM sent to you before I saw this. I have no need for the Master O/H kit, but will offer you $600 plus shipping for the T2R + bearings.

Damn, I should not have gone to bed so early last night (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Trying to get my beauty sleep before this weekend's big event at Carolina Motorsports Park.

I would prefer to sell the whole package, so I'm not left with supporting parts that I don't need.

The sequence of people interested so far:
1. ReEntryRacer (doesn't need the whole package)
2. Jpastorius (I don't know yet)
3. 93FirehawkTA (wants the whole package)

The reason I'm selling -- I've had parts sitting around for the Camaro literally for years. The car has been down for most of the time for over 3 years. I parked the car in January of 2005 for the turbo install. I took it out on the road for the first time in April of 2005 and blew the engine and damaged the turbo, one mile from home. At that point I was out of money, time, and patience. I accumulated a lot of parts, even bought another f-body to drive in the meantime.

I finally got the car back on the road in January, for limited testing of the suspension, engine, and turbo combination. This past weekend I finished installing a top-of-the-line transmission and torque converter to hold up to the torque of the engine/turbo package. (I was afraid to push the car until those were beefed up).

I still have several unfinished projects to wrap up: C5/6 front brake upgrade (have the brackets but nothing else yet), brake ducts (Severn parts sitting on the shelf), BlaineFab spoiler (so far I can't get the glued-on "RS" pieces off the car), 17x11 wheels I bought maybe 2 years ago but no tires yet, clean up a bunch of excess wiring in the back half, radiator ducting for the front breather, etc. Harnesses I bought for the car have already expired and have never been outside of the house yet...

The car has great suspension (compared to what it did), a whole gob of power, less weight, good seats, durable powertrain, and I just want to drive it for while and stop working on it... The T2R is not essential at this point, and it's been sitting on the shelf for over 2 years already.

Bummer....

Ilario's check arrived Saturday.

My (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/banghead.gif) of the moment:
I tried to test drive the Camaro at lunch time one day last week since the Level 3 transmission and the hd converter install were finished. I backed it out of the garage for the first time and it was grabbing/jerking/bogging. Tried to pull it back in, and no forward gears at all. Had to push it back in the garage. The transmission builder said another one is coming the end of the week, and they are having this one picked up Monday morning. (apparently they had some previous issues with their no-longer employed transmission dyno guy?) Yesterday I put the old stock transmission back in the car just to prove/disprove that the new converter is ok. That setup worked fine, so the problem is limited to the transmission. So two transmission swaps in two weeks, and I'm looking at yet a third swap this coming weekend to finally get it running again...

Glad to know the check arrived. Sorry about all the tranny swaps. I'd be (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rant2.gif) after so many.
