So I'm still doing a lot of growing with the car, need more seat time, but felt like a few changes could still be made to the car itself.

• 200lbs need to come out of the car.
• I need to dial in some more camber.
• Could use a wider tire than the 275s
• Still want to go coilover
Until I get a little more seat time, I'm not going to make changes to the last two. I need to clean up my lines with the 275's before throwing money at it.

These are the last runs of the 2nd day which came out to be my personal best for left and right sections. Last run, left side I was contemplating keeping it in 1st, but then bobbled 2nd and just tried to salvage the lap. Last run, right side, I kept it in 1st and pegged the limiter, proceeded to try and keep from going completely WOT in 1st.

Well, finally stretched my legs on a rare weekend off and went to an SCCA event! This was the Champ Tour at Mineral Wells. Quite the smattering of national champs attending and a very fast course. I'm needing more seat time and I wanted to experience a "big" event. Seems all the CAM guys were in STP or at Optima in NOLA getting rained out.

The car is a whole lot faster than the driver, something I'm working on improving! I'm working to get better at looking further down the track. Had a few DNF's and coned this run, but it's all in the learning process.

The drive down there from Lubbock was quite sketchy. A fully loaded car (wheels, jack, tools, etc. etc.) and I made the foolish mistake of taking I20 as I haven't made that drive in a long time and it seemed fine last time. I can't tell you how many times I scraped the roadway because of how rutted the asphalt was. I picked up a trailer at the event that I'd arranged to buy off a member there, loaded my stuff on the car and drove back after everything was done. Went a different route and it was so nice and the car just felt better without all the crap piled up in it (and I felt a little safer with less stuff to potentially fly around).

I have an assorted mix of wheels for sale:

1 x 18x10.5 Z06 Alcoa
2 x 18x10.5 Z06 Speedlines
$250 each shipped or $700 shipped for the set of three.

4 x 17x9.5 Speedline Mistral 6's, very rare motorsport version, even less common than the Mistral Corse wheels that the stance guys froth at their mouths over.
$800 shipped

Z06 Speedlines:

Got the car on the mustang dyno and got the tune ironed out. The intake manifold/throttle body is now a restriction as we watched the manifold pressure drop more and more as the rpm increased on the runs.

Run before smoothing was 247 whp 268 tq, it's got a good bit of torque for a little V6. Up from 169 whp and 184 tq when it was mostly stock. Fuel pump died a few days after this, dodged a bullet there. Almost done with the E85 system. The engine did what a stock LS1 did on the same dyno. She's a cruel mistress.
