Howdy,

I'm looking for a complete stock 3.42 rear axle assembly for a '99 z28 (LS1 rear brakes), w/three channel abs.

Gears/bearings need to be in good condition, no leaks, and I don't care what shape the diff is in.

Anyone got one they want to sell or know where I should look?

Thanks!

Mark

(Yes Keith, Brian at JJ's is checking for me too... :-)

What is wrong with the rear that I already sold you? (Yes, I know it has 3.73's in it.)

if it helps, I have the stock diff + gears.
I had put the T2R + 3.73s so the stock ones i still have in my basement.
As for the complete unit, i ended up selling it w/ T2R 3.73s, axles, everything.
Let me know if that helps... we'll arrange for shipping.

Nothing really, I just didn't want to deal with modifying it. To be ESP legal I need to cut the drop brakets off and return it to 3.42's. I don't have a (good) set of 3.42 gears, and I also don't want to deal with setting up gears in a housing if I don't need to.

I'm hoping I can find a stock axle assembly for similar money to what a gearset would cost me, not have to return this one to stock, and just swap the diff in.

If I can't find a complete unit, I'll take you up on that. My stock gearset has a stripped mounting hole in the ring gear... My buddy forgot it was reverse threaded and the impact took out the bolt anyway... :-)

Thanks!

If it comes down to this option, send me a PM... since I won't necessarily be following the thread.
I can send you pix if you want... It's not brand new... but in perfect condition.

I have a stock rear out of a 2000 WS6 in my car now. I will trade for a good rear with 3.73's, that way I don't have to deal with a gear swap either, just swap rears.
