It didn't help that people started driving like jackasses for a while. It wasn't long before those folks ended up in the infield and thing settled down. The biggest drama came around 6:45 or so when I got divebomed by an MX5 cup miata going into turn 11. The asshat hit me just in front of the left rear wheel and then the left front wheel. The impact spun me around and stalled the motor. I got it fired back up and after giving the car a bit of shake back and forth going down the back straight figured that the only damage was probably some toe-in on the left front wheel so I kept on banging laps out till I got called in for a driver's change. -- Nick |

I think it was mostly because we were trying to do only 1 pad change and were therefore not using the brakes much....
