i've been reading the post's on installing a cooler on the power steering,but what line?im thinking the large line coming off the pump

Yes, put it in the low pressure line so that your cooler doesn't have to take the high pressure of the pump.

Actually most of the PS coolers I found were built for the low pressure lines.

It's the smaller line that comes off the rack-not the pump. It will be feeding into the reservoir. On my LT1 car it was 3/8". All you need is to splice into it and run that line to your cooler and the outlet of the cooler to the reservoir.
