I am pretty sure I could do this in the Trans Am.

Sure - as long as you have a spare rear bumper, few dozen tires and an idiot on a Segway.Actually, our cars drift very well. I did a drift session on a skills pad and the car is quite predictable. the highlight of the day was when I lit the rears in 2nd, shifted to 3rd, then 4th and finally 5th. Redlined 5th while going about 40mph. Makes a nice smokescreen.

I could do that no problem. I doubt dude on the Segway would still be upright though...

That car must have some serious mods to the ABS / traction control system / diffs to be able to maintain a donut with the front wheels basically stationary. At that point I'm not sure that you even call it an ABS / traction contol system. During some of the in-car shots you see him reaching for something other than a shifter with his right hand. I'm thinking he's able to direct power to certain wheels and lock the brakes on others.

Sounds more like jealousy to me. They are comparing apples to oranges...a slow autox course vs a high speed drifting course. He's known for rallying, not going around cones in a parking lot.

I made the same move he did around the segway. I just did it around a bush on the side of the course!

Check out 2:32 for my move.
