I recently bought a Dell Mini 9 for use with the MaxQData video system and have decided not to use it. So, I'm posting it for sale. It's a great little computer and works well for travel and wi-fi use at various hot spots. I've used this a only few times (a couple hours total) and it's in excellent condition. I did purchase the optional external double layer DVD/CD burner to go with it and it's fully loaded with the exception of the built in webcam (didn't figure I had a use for that).

From Dells site:

SYSTEM COLOR Obsidian Black
OPERATING SYSTEM Genuine Windows® XP Home Edition
WARRANTY AND SERVICE 1Yr Ltd Warranty and Mail-In Service
MEMORY 1GB DDR2 at 533MHz
HARD DRIVE 16GB Solid State Drive
EXTERNAL OPTICAL DRIVE Portable CD/DVD-RW Drive with DVD Playback Software
BLUETOOTH OPTIONS Built-in Bluetooth 2.1 capability edit

ALSO INCLUDED WITH YOUR SYSTEM
PROCESSOR Intel® Atom Processor® N270 (1.6GHz/533Mhz FSB/512K cache)
HD DISPLAY Glossy 8.9 inch LED display (1024X600)
VIDEO CARD Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 950
WIRELESS NETWORK CARDS Wireless 802.11g Mini Card

Dell currently shows this as $591 and a $40 discount ($541 plus shipping and tax). I paid about $570 for it when I ordered it (total).

$485 + freight OBO.

To explain. Marka posted that Dell had these as refurbs for $389 (though he deleted his post...I didn't).

The optical drive is $82. $389 + $82 = $471 (and you'll probably still pay shipping and you will pay tax if you order one, figure $20-30 in most cases). And mine isn't a refurb, so it was never broken. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I have the box, disks and all paperwork. Do the refurbs have the upgraded bluetooth 2.1? Mine does (I didn't look, so I'm asking).

Ok.

$471 + freight

Howdy,

Searched more...

Bluetooth one is $409, without the optical drive.

Howdy,

$450?

Sure you don't want to sell it to me for $500, and you fix my car?

My wife even thought that was a good idea!
