Whoa! How did you get these? That's pretty impressive. Hopefully those'll help the General a little.

I've never sought out a red car, but I've owned two because that was the only choice in stock. On the plus side, they don't show dirt nearly as bad as other colors. My red 96 Camaro never actually looked dirty; it just dimmed the glow a little. My black 01 Camaro looks dirty about 30 seconds after it is washed.

Member of our club works at the plant up here. A couple of the guys have been taking some of the SS cars out for drives and letting people beat on them. I have not been that lucky yet.

I am told that these cars are likely mostly the V6 cars that will go to every dealer showroom for display. The preorders will start to fit into the line soon and other colours will be in that batch.

I've never been so conflicted about a car before. I really wanted to buy one of these, even started setting money aside for it, but when I found out it weights at least 3800 lbs and only comes on huge DUB wheels I totally lost interest. Unfortunatly there's not alot the General can do about the weight in this generation. I only hope the company survives long enough to release the 6th.

Oh I agree! I had ONE BLACK VEHICLE IN MY LIFE! In my opinion the best color for ANY car. Problem was the GMC Jimmy looks SWEET all shined up and sitting on the showroom floor. Later that night, after getting home, I noticed how the truck looked FILTHY! You had to was that thing TWICE A DAY to keep it looking right. Since then....every truck I have owned has been white. I can not wash my truck for 3 months and it doesn't look bad..... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)
