I purchased this for a rifle that I bought, and sold, before I ever got the case fitted. It's never been to the range and I've never cut, trimmed or otherwise molested the foam core in the case. When I bought it, it was listed as a double rifle case. And, it may be, but it's going to be snug if you have much of a scope on either item. It would be great for a rifle and a shot gun, or I was considering an AR15, a shotgun and a pistol (3 gun?), but can't verify it will fit. Or, an AR and a spare upper and mags, etc (looking at the pelican site photos, I'm not thinking there's room for that). This case is black in color.

Anyway, these are spectacular cases. I just never took the time to set it up for anything I own. It's been sitting in the corner of my spare room and if I'm not going to use it, it needs a new home. This is also good for electronics equipment or camera gear, etc. If you need a super rugged and water proof way to carry stuff around, this is an excellent choice. I even have the factory box to ship it in.

This would make a nice kit with the Remington 700P. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I paid $229 or so to my door.

$175 + freight.
