I'm trying to sell a 1987 GMC Sierra Classic 1500 2wd. Black and gray with a red stripe. It has a tbi 350, OD/AT, rear AC PW, PL, TW, CC, barn doors, and a hd trans cooler. I bought it from the second owner who got it with 93,000 miles on it for towing his bass boat. The original 305 engine was replaced at 135,000 miles with the 350 along with the proper injectors, etc. It currently has 202,000 miles. The AC has been converted to 134a. Until I bought it, it was always garaged or covered. Even with the 350 the owner said he got 17-18 mpg on the highway. Very good Michelin radials and paint. The only issues are the rear AC not working properly. Most people I spoken with THINK it's the rear expansion valve, because the lines that run the rear unit get cold, but it won't blow cold air. The driver's side rear door lock doesn't work when using the power lock switch, and the radio sucks. There is also a lifter that ticks occasionally on start-up, and some rust starting on the rear quarters behind the tires below the molding. I bought the truck because I knew several people looking for something like it. It didn't seem to fit their needs, so I need to sell it. I'm asking 1750.00 or best reasonable offer.
