I was going to wait till Trey sold his before I offered mine.

It's a very seldom used Suspension Techniques 35mm sway bar I used on my street car.

It has almost new poly bushings and mounts. I can probably come up with some end links, but no guarantees on their condition.

I'll ask $75 plus shipping for it all.

lol thanks Mitch. I had to do a double take when I read the topic title and notice it was started by you.

In case we have a lot of new people that aren't familiar with this bar, let me just say it was a fantastic upgrade. I did mine back in 2003 shortly after purchasing the car. This was the thickest and strongest bar out at the time. It completely changed the way the car went through curves and turns and I was already an upgraded car being a WS6. Anyway, it's a great bar and this is a great price. Good luck Mitch

How does this bar compare to the Strano 35mm bar in terms of weight and rigitity?

Also, what end links would be required to purchase? Or will the stock ones work with this bar?

thanks

I beleive it is somewhat stiffer and a lot heavier.

Stock type end links work fine. This is a direct replacement.

I run CMC and can't use a bar that isn't OEM.

Well, it kind of is a Strano bar.... I sold it to him in the first place and that bar is what I used before we started doing our own.

It's a little stiffer (not a lot) being solid, and about 15 pounds heavier than a hollow 35mm bar. Stock links can work, but frankly aren't strong enough and you will snap them so it's best to use bigger links that have more tensile strength if at all possible. If Mitch doesn't have them they are readily available.

It's available yet?

Thanks

Hey Darkness, I think I still have a 35mm ST bar around here somewhere. I'd really rather not ship it. Where are you located?

I shipped mine. It was almost $30 to send it across the state of Texas. With the mounts and ears, it was 26lbs.

I didn't pack it ... just stuck the shipping label onto the bar itself.
