I did not intend to belittle anyone's effort, and I clearly stated that I've never built a CP car. Regardless, I'm allowed to give my opinion. I did not say the builder was stupid, I simply stated that what I see in limited pictures on the internet does not seem like good practice. If I'm the idiot, then enlighten me with your experience.

I am far from being one to enlighten anyone. However, I can tell anyone the pitfalls of my ground up builds. As well, it is always cheaper to buy a good car and improve it vs building a new car. But, never judge a book by its cover and pics usually lie. Lastly, there is no substitution for experience so get it wherever you can.
