Stuff we readily use on our cars

Improved racing baffle, any deals to be had?

Engine gaskets.

Fluids, all of them.

Tires. What and where.....from take offs to new street tires.

Brake pads, what, where.

Track stuff, things we use in the pits. From tools to tents.

Safety stuff, helmets, gloves, roll bars.

Used parts, body parts, engines etc.

Where have you source the best deals? Who has great service?

If you find a new or better place, update the thread.

If you find good deals or parts on sale, update the thread.

OK, I will start it off....

CLUTCH, the stock replacement LS1 clutch at Autozone is the C5 Z06 clutch, the one I bought is made by LUK. Came with the flywheel and throw out bearing for $299. I bought the Hydraulics for the bearing at Car Quest for $80

SAFETY, Kenny at SAFERACER bent over backwards to get me a helmet that fit, great service and deep discounts. Also bought the I/O port camera mount here for $89.

BRAKE DUCTS for the valence, Blaine Fab has the best ones i have found. Most other ones I have seen are very thin and flimsy. His are made by BSR products which are gone, I think CP Products bought them.

ROTORS, I found good deals at these two places for Brembo blanks. Whether that deal stays I don't know, they have good dela s on other stuff also.

www.autopartsdeal.com and www.alldiscountautoparts.com

VIDEO CAMERA, The little $99 Flip camera works very good for the money.

POWER STEERING COOLER, Derale model 13200 fits in the bottom right have of our fan shrouds, I got it at Summit Racing.

The customer service cannot be beat at OG Racing for safety equipment. I won't shop anywhere else anymore!

Timely thread. I'm looking for a good source for a KERS kit. I don't have a lot of time these days so it needs to be bolt-on. Who has everyone else used?

LPI

I use them for Hawk pads. Free shipping over $99 and the pads are always over $99.

Best deal:

Front rotors: AutoZone Valuecraft currently $35, use to be $20. Free replacement, no questions asked policy.
They will most likely crack every other weekend, but they replace them for free. Buy 2 sets, and have fresh rotors on every time you go out.
