I'm looking at downsizing a lot of stuff (hence all the various for sale threads and cash is far easier to move than "stuff", so it beats packing). So here's another one.
I have a Lincoln Squarewave Tig 175. It welds great (if you do), and I don't think I need it anymore. I'm old, fat and too lazy to move it (it's approximately 200 lbs). So, it's for sale. I bought it with a small bottle (40 cu ft) and a Lincoln/Weldcraft WP9 torch and a stick or two of tungsten. It now has a 12.5 foot cable WP9 torch with an added torch hose cover, a new Weldcraft torch head, gas lens parts for 3 sizes of tungsten, nozzles in assorted sizes for gas lens use (and also for non gas lens use) and a whole box of spare parts and accessories (I spent a good pile of money on all the parts for the small torch at first). On top of that, I purchased a brand new 25 foot cable Weldcraft WP17 and all the sizes of gas lens, and non gas lens parts, collets, nozzles, accessories, a torch hose cover and so on. I probably spent $500 on the second torch and all the parts to go with it (not counting the pile of tungsten). On top of that, there's about 75 sticks of assorted tungsten (typically each tungsten is available in all three sizes and came in boxes of 10). There may even be closer to 100 sticks of tungsten. Also, I bought a 330 cu ft bottle outright (these are typically $350-ish and the 40 cu ft runs around $100, it's virtually full, and the 40 cu ft is full). I built a cart for it (on 300 lb casters) and I'm sure there's more. So, basically it's an AC/DC tig with two very well optioned Weldcraft torches, a pile of spare parts, enough tungsten to open your own welding shop, two bottles and a cart...and maybe stuff I'm forgetting. It's complete with the Lincoln foot pedal and is ready to plug in and weld. If this sells, I might post my Mig, tubing notcher and some other stuff as well. As it sits, I'm going to post it for $1,700 OBO. Pics on request. Located in Columbus, OH. Local pickup only (unless the truck and I are headed your way, then maybe we can work something out). |

There are also 4 containers of tig rods for this (two types of stainless, a full container of aluminum, steel and some additional aluminum). These are weather resistant containers full of about 15-20 lbs of tig rod...

Mainly interested in how much space it takes up. My garage isn't that big, but I've been wanting a TIG for a long time. Pickup wouldn't be bad either since I'm working in OH. |

I have one of these machines and the machine by its self is about the size of an over the stove microwave. small and compact. I have loaded mine into my truck with only my wifes assistance for an idea of weight.

It's about 200 lbs. The cart (as I remember) is 17.5 wide by 34" long (34" to give you room for the bottle) and the Tig is probably 22" tall, give or take (though my cart has a pole up the side that the torch hangs on that sticks up higher). I didn't make it out to the garage to take pics yet.
