Chumpcar- VIR 7/29-31 - F-Body Road Racing and Autocross Forums

Well, The Ricky Bobby Laughing Clown Malt Liquor thunderbird turbo coupe went up in flames at NJMP, so we went to our backup, a clapped out 510 (cheaty). That was slow as hell, and ended up totalled, as our most experienced guy (Scca D sport national qualifier) lost it at Shenandoah and stuffed it into a wall. we suspect oil, as only a little while later another, albeit highly competitive car ran into the same wall after losing it at the same spot.

I, fortunately (?) stayed until the end of the race, when I spied the Team America, F*ck Yeah! car with a for sale sign on it! 499.00 obo. We scrounged up 493.00 and it was ours. Instant race car, just add gas! And brakes, and a rear, and struts, and...

Enough of the whining. Is anyone else going, and if you're driving, what will it be?
