Had a blast my fist time out at this amazing track. Big thanks to Matt for letting me use his tow vehicle, and camp out in his RV! Also to Sam Strano for helping me select the right parts and settings for this car. For the little mods it has....it was definitly handling its own out there. I was the fastest car in my class (Point-by passing anywhere) and the car felt great other than more understeer than I would like. The car definitly needs front LCAs to get the camber properly adjusted. I am also still battling brake hop at times. Oh well hehe. My fastest lap recored was 1:58 I believe (with an iPhone app lap timer). It seemed very accurate.

The first video is my 2nd session (the first was a bit damp, and I was getting acclimated to the course). I make a breif appearance off track in the esses at about 5:50ish. I SWEAR someone oiled down that turn. You can clearly see me steering and my car goes straight lol. I finally gave up and just pointed all 4 off track cutting through the apex. It could have been worse if I tried to somehow complete the turn. The pace picks up once I get through the intital traffic.

The 2nd video is my second to last session of the day. I shall call it my "Euro trash domination session" lol. I am passing M5s and GT3s the entire time. It was a blast.

Man, I don't know why more people don't comment. I love when people post videos.

I watched the first video, looked great! Looks like you've got some power! I wonder why you are so tight. I've got stock LCA's with as much camber as I can get, which isn't much. But with Hotckis front sway bar, Strano springs and rear bar, mine is very neutral. If anything, I'm still just a little loose.

You are right about you trip through the dirt, sure does look like the front end just lost all grip.

Thanks! Car doesn't make that much power....maybe 375whp w/ 3.73 gears. Just has a small 223 custom grind cam, and shorty headers and a few other bolt ons. My car is only loose on the reverse camber turns, or if its over a hill where the car gets light for a second.

PS--The second video doesn't have the best visuals since its filmed in-cab, but there is less wind, and I am chasing porsches the whole session pretty much

Nice vids! Thanks for posting them. That looks like a wonderful track to drive. Nice work passing that foreign metal (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) .

I know what's next on your list of stuff... We'll need to put a good limited slip in there.
Looks like it's working well other than the differential, as expected. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Thanks for posting, mind if I link those on my webpage?

BTW, there are a few things we can talk about with regards to the brake hop.....

Of course I don't mind! I'll call you next week to discuss where I could get the best return on investment for my next couple mods. I think I drive a better line in the second video (and pass some cool cars along the way), but its a little tough to get a good feel for the track/speed.

Sorry, never intended to steal your thunder. I've know Sam a long time and purchased a lot of stuff from him through the years as well as him being my instructor. No hard feelings I hope.
