I'm not ready to sell it, but I'm curious if I did...what could I get for it from the right buyer say on this board or whatever. Anywho...
Short version: 95 Z28 M6 110k silver ttops no ASR full bolt ons-GMMG with optional tips, CAI, LTs ORY,4:11s w/girdle MSD wires with OVC routing Pro 5.0 ARP studs All the following suspension and brake items have probably 100 miles on them: Strano front and rear holllow sway bars SLP road racing revalved Bilstiens new BMR springs that are the clones of Strano's basically C5 brake conversion w/ red calipers stainless steel brake lines GM Zr1 wheels with good tread street tires UMI boxed weld in SFCs (not on the car yet) new power brake booster new clutch new battery Black leather TA seats out of an 01 that had 4k miles on the car (converted to a race car as soon as he bought it, he wants to buy back his seats for like 700 lol) If the car sells I will include a brand new set of Moog ball joints and tie rods...car doesn't need them I just got some "good deals" on stuff here and there lol Ive probably got a lot of other crap id throw in too for the car i have laying around, i wanted to do a cam swap so i have most of the gaskets etc to do a swap and I think I even have a brand new set of lifters, timing chain and about 5 K&N oil filters among other stuff laying around I picked up here or there for whenever or in case I would need them Extra details you probably don't give a damn about: This was the first car I ever bought myself. I still know the exact date and mileage of the day I bought it. I still have every single stock part for it except the shifter. Only put the best parts/oil on it, treated it very well, it's tastefully modded, sounds like sex. I have every receipt for every dollar I've spent on the car I think. I was saving up for a 383 or something and on a huge car cruise a car with big and lils and drag brakes was behind me, and we all had to do a panic stop...well he didn't stop in time. Bumped me and I went into a LT1 WS6 in front of me, so the front and back has been repainted. Headlight buckets and the grill area are gloss black and look good. I wanted to make my car perform like a C5 or a C5Z. I decided at that time why not just take all my money and buy a C5z instead of throwing another 10-20k in my car, so I did. However I kept my Z28 because it was my first car and my dad has a climate controlled 4 car garage. Everyone says they wish they never would have sold their first car even if it was a POS. SO i've always thought, how would I feel if I sold my nice first car....anywho a few years later and I'm looking to buy a house, and my dad might be selling his losing my storage spot. I'd love to buy another Vette, and I'd have another car/truck. I'm not sure I want to take up my 2nd garage spot to store my Z28 that I still may never drive, so I'm thinking about selling it. Ideally if i could store it I'd hold onto it another decade when clean 4th gens start going up in value like the 3rd gens did, or to give to my kid if I ever get around to having one, but like I said idk if I want it to just keep sitting 95% o the time in my garage. I know LT1s aren't really worth a damn any more, but I didn't know if it would be worth more than others to say someone who was looking for a good cheap car to use for HPDEs/trackdays/autox or just a fun cheap daily. Anyway, what do you think I could get out of it if I was patient? This post has been edited by jdhommert: Jan 20 2013, 09:23 AM |
