Up for grabs is the oil pan I had on my motor when it blew up. (A broken valve shattered a piston off the rod, broke through the cylinder wall, bent the rod, and sent pieces/oil/coolant out the tailpipe and up to the air filter). As the title said it's a Canton road race oil pan that I believe is part number 244 since I lost the receipt, the windage tray looks a little different compared to the website and the one Stan posted last year. Either way it will fit an old school small block with a 2 piece rear main seal, dipstick in the block on the driver side, in a Thirdgen F-body. I have the pick up which is welded to the oil pump, sending unit plug, windage tray, and hardware. If I can find them I'll throw in nice Canton 1 piece oil pan gasket and ARP stainless 12 point oil pan bolts.
While the oil pan was barely damaged (just a few small scratches) it caught all of the parts that didn't escape, so with trap doors and baffles it's going to be a real pain to clean up. Also the drain plug threads (in the oil pan) are a bit crunchy when you tighten it. If you're up for the challenge of cleaning up this mess with a parts washer, hot tank, or sonic cleaner it could be the deal of a lifetime! I pulled apart the oil pump and it doesn't look like it picked up any of the mess. I can take more pictures, just PM me your e-mail address. https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-loaVlo_g...0922_160008.jpg https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-rnBmCM4r...1018_185527.jpg https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-lfGKVrNc...1018_185621.jpg I guess $100 plus shipping is fair just to make it worth while to pack up and ship |
