Hello, I got in touch with Austin and Alan about a couple of issues and Austin told me the best place for a 3rd gen road racer would be here...

I first want you guys to know about the car better. I bought it in 2007, when I was in collage, I am a Mechatronics Engineer. I build the car on my own in my garage. I've put 12 bolt chevy with 3.91 and trutrac lock, tremec tko 600 with overdrive 5 (0.82), single plate clutch, and a 502 ram jet engine...
the first build:

(IMG:http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/xq90/843/e33qj.jpg)
(IMG:http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/xq90/834/qzcl.jpg)

And than, I realize thet the suspension is not enough for my goal, which lead me to change the a arms to adjustable del rin ones, up front I started to use weigh jacks with 900lb/in with koni yellows, QA1 douvle adjustables with coil over spring rate 220lb/in. I relocate the LCA and Panhard Bar. I was having trouble with the fuel when car turns in real quick (with the stock fuel tank and pump)

Then I had engine problems and use the car with the old 305 on the same suspension setup but before that here how the car was looking...

Then, I started to the business life which put be real behind of the build and my father financial support was gone=(

The car remained the same...
Meanwhile I started racing, and rent some cars and did some hillclimbing and Volkcicar which is a motocycled engined rear wheel drive front engined small car, look like this and this is me inside:

Then I realize I need to fix the car up!

I went to the military service and as a some kind of gift, my father accepted to build a race car together and tow it to the Istanbul Park (old f1 track)

Engine stroked to 509cui, harmonic damper, KRC accessories, electrical water pump, accusump, but the ECM is the same. I am waitng for the car to run first then put some cam with a stand alone system.

When I was doing the military, I ordered some parts which is extremely painfull to bring some large parts from us. Lexans, Fiberglassdoors, Hood, Spoiler etc... Of course the cage, i am building a 14 point cage very similar to Austin's car but first I want to show some photos on track with 305cui:

A couple of videos from the volkicar and the MZ3 BMW:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qFXT_hkAM14
My first volkicar race, see the end to see who wins? (lots of politics and lots of ugly people who does not want the real driver to win but the driver who pays more...)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHzhRKIBqsM
This is my old bmw mz3 with the 3.51 diff with the LSD other than the car is stock... The car and the circuit was new to me, I even cannot locate the 5th and 3rd gear:D On this heat, my gf was sitting next to me and I was just messy with the car.
the fast lap is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MbRyyvfGJHs

Then it comes to the videos of the trans am:

http://www.streetfire.net/video/trans-am-g...vid1_691494.htm

It recorded when the suspension like in the first pictures...

http://www.streetfire.net/video/in-car-vie...s-am_710318.htm

Here you can see that the car is very soft and had serious problems with the brakes. It was the first time that I was back on track with the 502....

And that was me being gentle to the car (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

LEts come to the real deal, This is how the car is right now... I've sanded the car and it save me some time but it has minor holeish things I hope the protective primer would fill those up...

Cool project. Definitely unique running a big block. Any idea how much the car weighed with the big block in there? I can just imagine how rough it is getting parts to Turkey. I have the benefit of U.S. military mail here in Sicily and it's still a pain getting parts. When you were in the military, did you ever visit the NATO base in Sicily? We get Turkish troops visiting every so often.
