I need the hard rubber boot that fits over the base of the shifter shaft on a '97 6 speed. It is approximately 3" x 3". It is NOT the rubber boot that attaches to the floor tunnel. Does anyone know the part number or have one for sale?
The link below has a pic of it…. http://ls1tech.com/forums/attachments/manu...-picture013.jpg This post has been edited by fast ken: May 23 2016, 05:02 PM |

It doesn't appear to be listed separately. Part 98 appears to be 10267518, which is the boot which bolts to the tunnel.

^^^Yes, that's it, and that's not a bad price either. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
The dealers (AND GM Parts Direct, etc.) I've ever checked with can no longer get this part, so IF they actually have them on ebay, grab it up! |

I think they made several different styles depending on the shifter. Mine is a SS/SLP car with the optional Hurst shifter. I found a different one from the same ebay store with a picture that looks exactly like mine. I still don't know the part number…. Thanks for your input.
