I am going to be taking out my sparco touring VTR seats in the VERY near future because I am going to a different style.

These are the fiberglass version seat. Retail on these is right around 869.00 each, new. that doesnt include mounting brackets that will run you another 200.00 or better. I have a set of custom fabbed brakets that I will throw in with the seats. But they will only work with someone that is in the '5"6 - '5"9 heigth range.

these are the most advanced race seat you can buy without going to the carbon fiber version of this seat. Total cost new for both seats plus brackets would go over 2,000.00. Since mine have been used in the car and do show signs of wear and scuffing I'll let them go for 1000.00 w/ the custom brackets. I only have 1 season on these seats.

anyone thats interested and wants pics please contact me via PM or email:
boycejr @ gbgcpa.com and put SPARCO SEATS in the header.

Here is a pic of them when they were brand new (may have to copy and paste).

I'd love to have them....and I'm 5'8" so I would fit too! The problem is I need to get rid of my seats first and not right in the middle of the season. I have Recaro Sport or SRD's?--See my website. The reclinable ones. Very comfortable, with holes for 5-point. They work great at the track! Wanna trade? I would be "All In" but at 6'1" and 250 lbs I need Evo 2s. I could use the tracks, especially if they are bolt in for a 96.

As far as the heigth issue. These WILL work for someone that is taller and larger in size. You would just have to fab up your own brakets for them. Since these are a fixed position seat, the brackets I made work perfect to bolt in for someone my height.

As far as a trade.......Well, if you happen to have a Butlerbuilt advantage road race seat sitting somewhere, I'll give you both of these for 1 of them (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Wouldn't that hinder visibility on the street, with the thing covering the whole head ?

LOL For the price I am giving these away at you could buy 3 or 4 black covers and still be WAY out ahead. The covers are changable, takes about 5 minutes to do it. If I don't sell these I am going to take the covers off and run bare fiberglass.

Nice seats, would love to have them but I'm 6'1" and don't have the coin at the moment. I assume they are pretty lightweight?

BTW, it does look like you're son is handing you a beer that was photo shopped out! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Yeah the seats are very light. Probably in the 15lb area or less. You could pick one of these up and toss it across the room without any trouble at all.
