Since I am getting ready to turn the car into a front breather I have been doing alot of searching. A while ago we found a site in europe that had camaros that had custom nose pieces. Just due to shipping costs this was very prohibitive.

I have also looked into doinf what a number of other people have done and just hacked everything up front and make room through the area thats says "Camaro".

I was over on HRPworld.com today and found this. In the lower right hand corner is what looks like a Trans Am series nose for the 98+ car. As far as I can tell from the picture, it does not have the ability to have funtioning head lights (but I am sure that could be fixed. What I am wonder is that if this would be a bolt in piece. I am sure there would be a bit of custom fab work but as long as it fits the lines of the factory hood and fenders it wouldnt take much to get it in.

any opinions?

It sure doesn't look like a bolt-on. The hood line appears lower, maybe wider. Would look greath though.

Boyce, from the picture it appears to me that you'd need the hood and nose. I would assume the nose includes the front wheel flares also, since they blend so smoothly together. If that was the case, your car would look funny without the rear quarter panels too. By the time you're done, you might as well buy the whole thing and find a tube frame . . . (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

I like the phrasing - Tail / Undertray. Makes me think they've built a smooth undertray for the rear that might be a perfect setup for a diffuser.

Call them and find out though. It's a good looking body. That's for sure.
