It's always good to see people introducing the Europeans to American Iron!

after a year and half in Iraq , Ifigured I did pretty good on my outing . I will never be able to heel toe , (past injury) . That AMG 65 couldn't figure out how I passed him. So I had to tell him that once the auto over temps in the mercedes it will dramatically cut power to save the engine.

Entertaining, indeed. We had a couple new, fast AMG's out at PIR last week but one ended up going home on the back of a truck...the engine blew chunks down the front straight in about the 3rd session.

Yeah, I thought so too. I didn't get a chance to talk to the guy so I don't know the details. Some people were saying it was the tranny, others said it was the engine. All I know for sure is that he left a streak of fluid and metal fragments part way down the front straight.

woo that has got to be expensive. But then again AMG will sell complete motors right out the door if your willing to pay.
