WTT Blue 5 point Simpson for cheap lap belt only Options

I have a blue simpson 5 point Y type harness laying around. It's a little dirty but can probably be cleaned up. No idea the date, good condition except needs a cleaning. I had it installed in my car.

I wan to trade for a black lap belt only. I don't need a harness just the lap belt. Off brands are fine....

I just gutted my interior. Do you want a stock type belt? If so, I have what you need and can ship today. My interior was grey though, so I think the belts were a dark grey and not a true black. Please call me today and let me know.

I have a complete yet out of date black simpson lever "Latch" harness.

It is not a lever "lock". It is the less expensive style. Let me know if you can use it. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/nutkick.gif)

I have several out of date Blue Lever Lock complete 5 points.

Barney I'd trade but don't want to buy anything. The cheaper version has a seatbelt type latch is that right. That's probably the way I'd like to go as the latch FX latch is heavy. If it is a seat belt type latch it would probably need to have some sort of Simpson marking on it. So it doesn't look like I removed a stock belt for another stock belt.

TxAgZ28 If I sell this one I'll end up not getting the lap belt.

John, I don't need the stock stuff, I'm removing it to fit "alternate restraints" per the rules. And an entire harness is just extra weight.


One other thing, and you would have to double check because I don't want anyone to be mis-lead, BUT I THINK until the end of this year, Impact Racing will take a Simpson Harness in trade for theirs. You have to add around $60. Basically about 1/2 off. Same for a cam lock only it's $100.

I have several sets of cam lock Simpson harnesses. They are all out of date per the SCCA for road racing. I don't know if the AutoX rules are the same for dates.

What is expensive? You are right Simpson will let you trade in an out of date harness for about $50 off a new one. I just happen to have several sets and not in need of any new ones right now.

Trade what? It has a leather protection peice and a Captain Hook claw coming threw that you pass the shoulder and nutbag straps threw and then hooks them all together. It is "Old School" but lighter, cheaper and functional. It is black.

I have several blues and a couple of reds.

I am sorry if I didn't reply to your PM's. I have a 5 point Black Simpson Lever Lock, a Blue Simpson Cam Lock, A Red TRW Cam Lock. I can't image shipping being more than $10 ground.
