Who doesn't love a day off in the middle of the week combined with the NFL, potatos, gravy, and pumpkin pie?

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Middle of the week? Nah. I took Wed, and Friday off as well, made a short weeks vacation out of it. I'm thiking it will take 2 days to recover from the meal I just had.

NFL? It would be better if there was a decent race on instead.

I'm at my parents house, no speed channel. Damn, I figured they might do something cool like that. Oh well, guess I'll have to just relax with my relatives (not a bad thing).

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving to all our fellow junkies at FRRAX.

On a sober note, my life flashed in front of me AGAIN tonight. First snowfall fo the year= slippery xways=accidents!

Stopped to help a car full of elderly folks, and within 2 minutes, another car hit them not 6' from where I was standing. All in all ended up being 6 to 8 vehicles involved, couple hurt, but not bad.

Makes you ( ME) VERY thankful for what you have.( sorry for the rant)

Gary

No rant taken. Why should men be embarrassed about showing compassion anyway, or having their buddies think of them as kindhearted?

Thank you for helping those in need. And for being thankful.

Gary,

Bob has it right, never be ashamed of lending a hand to those who need it. I'm glad to hear that you made it without a scratch and that all involved are ok. Thanks for taking the time and risk to help out those who needed it. We need a few more like you in the world.

I hope you had a happy holiday (in addition to the excitement).

Spent the time at my folks house. Dinner and conversation.

I (we) have so much to be thankful for, and I'm thankful each day both feet hit the floor in the morning. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

'course I'm watching old in-car video and track footage shot in the SWC for the past two seasons just to help ease the desire to be out there this weekend, instead of pickup the last of the leaves, or getting ready for the real winter to drop several inches of itself on us. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

back to the 'honey-do' list. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Hope everyone enjoyed Turkey Day! It was bittersweet for me, first one at Dad's house after he passed earlier this year. Makes me thankful for all my family and friends.

On the humorous side, I was also there to pick up my Dad's cats and take them back with me to Northern Cali. (Dad's house is in LA). One is slightly feral, and was a challenge to get. We ended up rigging a noose and getting him that way, only to discover a possum clan was also living in the garage while in the process! I'll have to get them out on the next trip!
