Are the LT1 airboxes different between the Camaros and the Firebird? I am trying to install a Camaro stock airbox in my Firebird and it doesn't appear that it will fit. Note that I have never really looked at a stock LT1 airbox before so I could just be a bonehead.

I tried downloading pics of the air boxes from my '94 Z28 & '95 Formula. However, http://www.vilipend.com/~frrax/y5e06 is not responding so I couldn't download 'em. I didn't compare them closely myself. I looked at the casting numbers in the box & bellows from the 'bird.
the outer half was 25099074
inner half has 25098350
and the tubular section before the maf is 25160024.
Bonus! discovered the car has a K&N.....
if you need I can post the pics later or give it a closer look.

Doh! I was trying to install the box with the wrong orientation. (I've never really looked at a stock one before - this car came with the CAI)!
