QUOTE (Formula WS6 @ Nov 15 2004, 06:32 PM) how bout a ZZ4 crate engine? i might be able ot get them a brand new one for a good price. What's a good price (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) and can you get a better deal for two? My husband said that would be great for our car (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) I am checking with my friend and I will get back to you!!! If you can give me an idea on price and where will it be coming from? We may need to pick it up? Thanks, Liz |

Mmmmmmm......ZZ4. Nice motor. I built a "copy" of one once (added splayed main caps and a forged crank). It's a good way to go.
Liz, I own an engine hoist (and stand) if you need one (it's in Zanesville right now, but should be home soon). |

(IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I did Milodon splayed mains, ARP studs, a GM Performance billet front main cap (2 bolt) and bought a forged crank from a Corvette from the GM parts counter. Corvette heads with Manley Race Flo valves, K-motion springs, 0 decked, deck plugged, had the heads skim cut, Lunati rods, and the list goes on. I actually built the worlds most expensive ZZ4...... Next time, I'll buy one. Liz, if you guys need help, call me. |

It's in Mikes (bubba353z) 1992 Z28 (hardtop/6 speed/3.73 car). It is an evil little toy. I should have kept that car and engine. And hey Mikey, welcome to the board. I see that this is your first actual post. It's not a bad place to hang out..... but whatever you do, don't mention bumpstops.......
